Figures published for the Emporia and Ivanhoe exploration target come from studies between 1944 and 1989 and span an enormous range, from roughly 8,700 tons to 350,000 tons at widely varying grades, which is itself a signal of how little is settled. They are conceptual. There has been insufficient exploration to define a resource, and it is not certain that further work will produce one.
